Mr. Sotaro Fujisawa (PhD student, 1st year) recieved "Best Oral Presentation Award" at SaSSOH 2019: The 7th Sapporo Summer Symposium for One Health in Sapporo, Japan on Sep. 19-20, 2019.

The award-winning study was "Search for novel vaccine candidates to control poultry red mites by RNA-Seq analysis".

 

Mr. Yamato Sajiki (PhD student, 2nd year) recieved "IUIS VIC Travel Award" from Veterinary Immunology Committee (VIC) of The International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) and had an oral presantation at International Veterinary Immunology Symposium (IVIS) 2019 in Seattle, USA on Aug. 14, 2019.

The award-winning study was "Contribution of prostaglandin E2 to disease progression and enhancement of antiviral effects by anti-PD-L1 antibody combined with COX-2 inhibitor in bovine leukemia virus infection".

 

Mr. Sajiki also recieved "Best Poster Presentation Award" at SaSSOH 2019: The 7th Sapporo Summer Symposium for One Health in Sapporo, Japan on Sep. 19-20, 2019.

The award-winning study was "Upregulation of cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen-4 expression via prostaglandin E2 in paratuberculosis".

 

Mr. Hiroto Takeuchi (undergraduate, 6th year) recieved "Young Researcher Award" at The Japanese Society of Small Animal Veterinary Medicine (Hokkaido) in Kitami, Japan on Aug. 29-30, 2019.
