We are happy to announce that our students recieved awards at a conference!
Mr. Sotaro Fujisawa (PhD student, 4th year) and Ms. Honami Shimakura (undergraduate, 6th year) recieved the 12th Young Scientist Award of the Subcommittee of Veterinary Microbiology at the Japanese Society of Veterinary Science (online) on Sep. 7-13, 2021.
The award-winning studies were
"Studies on host immune responses against infestation by poultry red mite, Dermanyssus gallinae" (Mr. Fujisawa)
and
"Analysis of intrauterine infection with bovine leukemia virus in pregnant dams with enzootic bovine leukemia" (Ms. Shimakura).
