One of the unique features of our laboratory is the extensive network we have built with domestic and international research institutions and professional organizations. Based on our network, we have been working on a variety of joint researches, technical cooperation, and specialized training programs for many years. Since this year, we have finally been able to send our lab members to overseas and welcome overseas collaborators with the necessary countermeasures against infections.
Therefore, we would like to introduce our international activities to you through a series of "Global Communication Report"! As the first issue of "Global Communication Report," we would like to introduce a lecture given to the Mongolian trainees yesterday!
Global Communication Report #1 - Lecture to Mongolian Veterinarians

On November 8, Dr. Otgontuya Ganbaatar (a researcher of our laboratory, originally from Mongolia) gave a lecture to Mongolian trainees (veterinarians) who are visiting Japan with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The lecture was given in Mongolian and covered a wide range of topics from a general overview of infectious diseases to specific topics. Dr. Otgontuya explained a variety of infectious diseases that have caused serious problems in Mongolia, such as bacterial infections (brucellosis, tuberculosis, anthrax, and drug-resistant bacteria) and viral infections (foot-and-mouth disease and rabies), as well as control strategies for these infectious diseases by vaccines. The response of the trainees to the lecture was very favorable, and the discussion was so active that it exceeded the scheduled time.
We would be happy if this lecture could contribute to the development and improvement of livestock production and public health in Mongolia.

Монголын малын эмч нарт зориулсан лекц
2022 оны 11-р сарын 8-ны өдөр Япон улсын Олон улсын хамтын ажиллагааны байгууллага (ЖАЙКА)-ын дэмжлэгтэйгээр Япон улсад айлчилж буй монгол дадлагажигч (мал эмч) нарт доктор Ганбаатарын Отгонтуяа (манай лабораторийн судлаач, монголоос ирсэн) лекц уншлаа.
Уг лекц нь монгол хэл дээр явагдсан бөгөөд халдварт өвчний ерөнхий тоймоос эхлээд зарим халдварт өвчний сэдвүүдийг хамарсан. Доктор Г. Отгонтуяа нь бактерийн халдвараар үүсгэгддэг өвчнүүд (бруцеллёз, сүрьеэ, боом, антибиотокт тэсвэртэй нян), вирусын халдвараар үүсгэгддэг өвчнүүд (шүлхий, галзуу) зэрэг Монгол улсад ноцтой асуудал үүсгэдэг олон төрлийн халдварт өвчний талаар болон вакцинаар эдгээр халдварт өвчнийг хянах боломж, стратегийн талаар илтгэл тавьж харилцан ярилцлаа.
Сургалтанд хамрагдсан хүмүүсийн лекцэнд өгсөн хариулт тун таатай, хэлэлцүүлэг маш идэвхтэй өрнөж, төлөвлөсөн цагаасаа бага зэрэг хэтэрсэн бөгөөд энэхүү лекц нь Монгол Улсын мал аж ахуй, нийгмийн эрүүл мэндийг хөгжүүлэх, сайжруулахад хувь нэмрээ оруулж чадвал бид баяртай байх болно.
