Global Communication Report #14 - Lab-rotation training of Dr. Hung
Dr. Ngo Dinh Hung, a veterinarian from The Institute of Veterinary Research and Development of Central Vietnam (IVRD) has been staying at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University under the Training Program for Asian Veterinarians of Japan Veterinary Medical Association. He received training in our laboratory for two weeks (10/16-10/27).
Dr. Hung trained on diagnostic methods for bovine leukemia virus (BLV) infection and salmonellosis, and joined blood collection from cattle in our laboratory. At the end of this training, he gave a special presentation on the diagnosis of BLV infection and salmonellosis that he worked on during the training, as well as on the prevalence of BLV in cattle farms in Vietnam.
Dr. Hung will continue his training in our veterinary school. We wish Dr. Hung good health in this cold winter and enjoy the training!
