On November 14th, we had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Yoshihiro Izumiya from the University of California, Davis, to our laboratory for a special seminar. During the seminar, Prof. Izumiya shared his research on the development of peptide therapeutics targeting Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus, as well as his findings on Marek’s disease virus. The seminar was incredibly insightful, and the Q&A session that followed led to lively discussions, making it a highly valuable experience.
Following the seminar, we held a social gathering where Professor Izumiya generously offered advice on future career paths and research projects. It was an invaluable opportunity for all of us, providing fresh inspiration and motivation for our own research endeavors.
