Reported by Mari Ikehata (PhD student)

From August 11 to 14, 2025, I participated in the 14th International Veterinary Immunology Symposium (IVIS2025), held in Vienna, Austria, together with Dr. Okagawa, Mr. Nakamura, Ms. Inoue, and Mr. Horio.

At this conference, Dr. Okagawa and Mr. Nakamura gave oral presentations, while Dr. Okagawa, Mr. Inoue, Mr. Horio, and I presented posters. For doctoral students like myself, this was our first opportunity to attend an international conference held overseas.

The event brought together researchers specializing in veterinary immunology from around the world, providing an invaluable opportunity to learn about the latest findings and methodologies in the field. Many early-career researchers also participated, allowing us to exchange ideas about our research and receive valuable advice regarding future career development.

Based on the insights and experiences gained through this conference, I am determined to further expand the scope of my research. I will continue to devote myself to daily research activities with the aim of contributing to the advancement of veterinary immunology.
