It is our great honor to share that Dr. Asami Nishimori (an alumna of our lab, currently at National Institute of Animal Health, NARO) recieved the Veterinary Science Young Investigator Award from the Japanese Society of Veterinary Medicine at Sep. 4, 2025.
Dr. Nishimori began her research on bovine leukosis as an undergraduate and doctoral student in our laboratory. After graduation, she further advanced her research on bovine leukosis at the National Institute of Animal Health, publishing numerous essential discoveries. This award recognizes her continuous efforts and outstanding achievements toward understanding the pathology and pathogenesis of this disease.
